Fire Pits.Wood and gas fire pits built into patios, with the gas run through a licensed partner.
OnCall builds wood and gas fire pits, set into stamped or paver patios. A gas pit brings a licensed plumbing partner in for the run.
Wood or gas
A wood pit is simpler and cheaper and smells like a fire. A gas pit lights in one motion, produces no smoke and no ash, and needs a gas line run by a licensed partner. Most people know which one they want within a sentence of that description.
Build it with the patio
A fire pit set into the slab while the patio is being poured costs a fraction of one retrofitted afterwards, because the excavation and the concrete work happen once.
Placement, smoke and clearance
Placement is decided by prevailing wind, the distance to the house and anything overhead, not just by where it looks good on a drawing. A wood pit positioned without thinking about wind will smoke straight into the seating for the life of the patio.
Clearances to the house, to a pergola and to anything combustible are settled at the walkthrough. A fire pit under a wood structure is a specific conversation rather than an assumption.
How fire pits gets quoted
Fire Pits is measured on site. Grade, access, existing conditions and the things behind the walls all change the number, and none of them are visible in a photograph. OnCall walks the space, works through the design decisions with you, takes the dimensions and sends a detailed written bid rather than a range.
You review the quote with us: the scope, materials, pricing, options and anything that may be different from another bid, so you know exactly what you are comparing. A signature and a deposit put the work on the calendar. If something is found once a wall or the ground is open, it is priced and agreed before it is built rather than appearing at the end.
