More home is already under your feet.
An unfinished basement isn't just square footage. It's an opportunity to create exactly what your home is missing: family room, home theater, bar and entertainment, fitness, bathroom, kids and game room.
You don't have to design it alone. Know exactly what you want? Great. Need help bringing everything together? OnCall can connect you with design support to develop a cohesive space around your style, priorities and project.

OnCall's interior category covers bathroom remodels, basement finishing, fireplace builds, design trim walls and kitchen backsplash. These projects are measured on site and quoted as a written itemized bid rather than from photos.
What the interiors category covers
- Bathroom remodels
- Basement remodels and finishing
- Fireplace builds
- Design trim walls
- Kitchen backsplash
Worth being direct about the boundary: OnCall does kitchen backsplash and does not do full kitchen remodels. Backsplash is a defined piece of work with a predictable scope. A full kitchen is a different animal, with cabinetry lead times and appliance coordination that belong to a specialist, and taking one on would mean doing it worse than the people who do nothing else.

Why hire one contractor for the whole interior?
A bathroom is not one trade. It is demolition, framing, plumbing rough, electrical, waterproofing, tile, drywall, paint, trim and fixtures, and the failures almost always happen at the seams between them. When each trade is hired separately, nobody owns the seam. When one contractor carries the project, the person who set the shower pan is the person answering for the tile that sits on it.
Cory Lee started in the trades in 2008. Eighteen years across remodeling and new construction, insurance restoration for water and fire damage, home inspection, and warranty management for a production builder. That last one is the least glamorous and probably the most useful: warranty work is years spent on other people's mistakes, which is a fast education in which details fail and why.

How an interior project gets priced
Interiors are measured on site. Cory walks the space, gathers design decisions and dimensions, and sends a detailed written bid rather than a range. Follow up runs at twenty four hours, seventy two hours and one week, then a signature and a deposit put the job on the schedule.
Work that needs a permit is performed by licensed electrical, plumbing and HVAC trade partners. OnCall coordinates it as the general contractor so you are dealing with one company rather than three.

Design decisions you will need to make
The estimate meeting goes faster when a few things are already decided, and none of them are irreversible at that stage:
- Tile, and specifically whether the shower gets a niche, a bench or both
- Vanity size and whether the plumbing is moving
- Lighting layout, which is the cheapest thing to change on paper and the most expensive to change later
- Flooring, and how it meets the flooring in the next room
If none of that is settled yet, that is normal and it is not a reason to delay the walkthrough. Measurements do not change.

Start My ProjectFrequently asked questions.
Do you do full kitchen remodels?
No. Backsplash yes, full kitchen remodels no. That work has cabinetry and appliance coordination that belongs to a kitchen specialist, and there is a vendor list for it.
How long does a bathroom take?
It depends on the scope and on whether plumbing is moving. Cory gives a real date range at the walkthrough rather than an optimistic one at the phone call.
Can you finish a basement that already has framing?
Yes. Partially completed basements are common, and the walkthrough starts by working out what can stay.
Who pulls the permits?
OnCall coordinates as the general contractor, and permitted work is performed by licensed electrical, plumbing and HVAC trade partners.
Working on more than one thing?
From today's small project to tomorrow's bigger one, OnCall is built to be the company you call for your home.
